    Our Premium Cabbage is green in colour and is a Japanese variety, has a firm, solid head with smooth leaves. Premium Cabbage may be eaten raw, shredded in salads, or cooked in any way including soups and stews. Also available as Baby Cabbage in limited quantities.

    Cabbage is best prepared as close to raw as possible to preserve this veggie's many nutrients. Cabbage has the highest amount of some of the most powerful antioxidants such as thiocyanates, lutein, zeaxanthin, isothiocyanates, and sulforaphane. Cabbage is also an excellent source of vitamin K, vitamin C, fiber, vitamin B6, folate, and manganese, as well as healthy amounts of thiamin (vitamin B1), pyridoxine (vitamin B6), and pantothenic acid (vitamin B5). It also provides iron, magnesium, phosphorus, calcium for strong bones, and potassium.
